Barrels Bitumen Melting Machinery (Bitumen Decanter) is a kind of equipment that extracts the bitumen in barrels after heating and melting and pumps it to the bitumen storage tank. The mouth opened bitumen barrels is placed on the hydraulic turning mechanism of the bitumen melting machinery, and the barrels is turned over by hydraulic arm and pushed into the bitumen decanter; Through the burner or thermal oil furnace heating, so that the bitumen fully heat exchange, the bitumen in the barrel gradually reach the softening point and flow out of the barrel; then the bitumen is heat exchanged to reach the pumping temperature (120-160 ° C), and the hot bitumen is pumped to the bitumen tank or other bitumen storage devices; The empty bitumen barrels are pushed out of the bitumen melting machinery by extrusion thrust, so that the melting work can be carried out continuously and the efficiency of the equipment can be improved.

The melting time depends on the heating source. Our high-efficiency bitumen decanting machine typically melts bitumen drums within 40-60 minutes using a high-temperature thermal oil coil system.

Yes, our drum bitumen decanter features a robust hydraulic pushing system and a spacious internal melting chamber, which allows it to process slightly deformed or rusted drums without jamming.
