Truck-Mounted Chips Spreader

The Truck-Mounted Chips Spreader is a specialized piece of engineering machinery used for road construction, maintenance, and airfield paving. Its primary function is to spread aggregates such as chips, crushed stone, gravel, and asphalt mixture onto the road surface uniformly and with controlled thickness and width.

The truck-mounted chips spreader is attached to the rear of the chip transport dump truck's cargo compartment and secured via bolts, and it works perfectly with our Synchronous Chip Sealer or Asphalt Distributor. During the spreading process, as the dump truck's compartment is raised, the chips fall onto the rotating spreader roller under their own gravity. Through the rotation of the spreader roller, the chips are directed onto the spreader plate. By adjusting the width of the spreader plate, the chips are uniformly spread onto the road surface according to construction requirements. Its main applications include chips sealing, base stabilization layers, prime coat and tack coat, micro-surfacing, and road surface anti-skid.
