Push-Type Chips Spreader

Max. Spreading Width: 3000mm
Spreading Amount: 3-60m³/km
The push-type chips spreader is a specialized engineering machinery equipment used for road construction, maintenance, and airfield paving. Its primary function is to uniformly distribute aggregates such as chips, crushed stone, gravel, and asphalt mixtures onto the road surface with controlled thickness and width. Pairs perfectly with our manual bitumen sprayer for a complete patch-repair kit.
The push-type chips spreader operates by clamping onto the drive wheels of a dump truck via a wheel-clamping device, allowing it to be pushed forward by the power of the truck. When the Power Take-Off (PTO) clutch is engaged, the spreader's wheels drive the rotation of the feed roller. The chips uniformly fall into the distributor by gravity. By adjusting the gate opening and the feed roller gap according to construction requirements, the chips are evenly spread onto the road surface. Its main applications include chips sealing, base stabilization layers, prime coat and tack coat, micro-surfacing, and road surface anti-skid.
