On January 15, 2026, SINOTO welcomed a distinguished Ethiopian delegation to our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. From rigorous quality testing of the asphalt mixing plant production line to in-depth technical exchanges, the inspection highlighted SINOTO’s commitment to engineering excellence. Read on to explore the technical highlights of the visit and learn how our customized paving solutions are set to transform Ethiopia’s growing road network.
It was the start of the year 2026 and SINOTO made a major step forward by inviting an official Ethiopian delegation and their accredited representatives on January 15, 2026. With Ethiopia committing significant resources to its national transport networks and urban development, there is no greater demand than at present to have high efficiency, durable and green asphalt mixing plants.
The tour was meant to be like a full-scale factory tour so that the client would be able to confirm the production capacity, quality management, and technical expertise of our current production lines. In the case of SINOTO, this was the chance to prove why our machinery is still the gold standard in rough African conditions.
We started our inspection at the core of our plant the asphalt mixing plant production line. The Ethiopian officials were being accorded a back stage candidness on the exact engineering that goes inside each component, the cold aggregate supply system to the advanced dust collection units.
The following are some of the major technological strengths as pointed out in the tour by our lead engineers:
The geography of Ethiopia is varied as it consists of plateaus at elevated high levels and lowlands that are scorched and this necessitates the use of machinery that can endure the pressure. In the technical exchange session, the agents paid attention to the functionality of SINOTO equipment to manage the load work of high intensity.
The client agent in the visit to the control room said the reason behind their visit was not to see a machine but to see a good partner to take Ethiopia into the future.
Another key feature was the fully automated PLC control system of SINOTO. The system comes with an easy-to-use interface and remote diagnosing features that enable operators in Ethiopia to enjoy real-time services at our Chinese headquarters and minimize downtimes so that production can continue.
One of the main elements of the 15th of January visit was the Quality Control (QC) validation. The Ethiopian team was able to see a first-hand demonstration of our non-destructive testing (NDT) weld joints and stress-testing of the mixing tower.
Quality at SINOTO is a department not a culture. All asphalt plant manufacturers can boast of quality, and we are demonstrating it by:

The relations between SINOTO and the Ethiopian contractors are based not only on hardware. One of its foundations is the common vision of progress. Infrastructure is the support of this growth as the Ethiopian government drives the Homegrown Economic Reform Agenda.
Our asphalt mixing plants have three advantages to African market:
Our burners will be multi-fuel (diesel, heavy oil, or gas), thus allowing them to be flexible according to the availability of the local resources.
Our plants have built-in baghouse dust collectors, thus our plants are below the global benchmark of 20mg/Nm3, which preserves the beautiful Ethiopian landscape.
We talked about sending SINOTO engineers to the Addis Ababa to install and commission the product and train the local staff.
At the day end, the delegation were satisfied with the progress of the production and the technical specifications of the plant. The agent ensured that the equipment was in line with all the rigorous specifications as outlined in the procurement contract.
This visit, January 15, 2026, is a testimony to the increased presence of SINOTO in the world market of road construction equipment. It is not only that we are selling machines; we are selling the power so that countries can create their own ways to wealth.
Since the checked parts are currently undergoing preparation of special maritime packaging effects and transportation to the Port of Djibouti, our team is already working on the subsequent stage of assistance. We are also eager to see this asphalt mixing plant on the streets of Ethiopia and making it a smoother, safer, and more connected future.
