This case study explores a recent collaboration between SINOTO and one of the major metropolitan authorities in South East Asia. The solution was the use of our state-of-the-art Dustless Suction Sweeper Truck, a project showcasing the intersection of high-tech innovation, logistical know-how and deep understanding of the local needs.

The challenge was to overhaul their outmoded road cleaning fleet with a modern solution that would be effective against heavy debris and fine dust without creating secondary air pollution.

Chapter 1: The Engineering Challenge–More than Surface-Level Cleanliness

Their basic operational challenges were:

1. Micro-Dust Contamination: Traditional methods such as mechanical broom sweepers and high-pressure air blowers worked well in removing larger debris but were not effective at removing dust at the microscopic level. They frequently agitated and redistributed fine cement and soil dust and left behind a layer of contaminants that could seriously degrade the adhesion of the permeable layer and subsequent asphalt courses.

This included cleaning milled asphalt surfaces during maintenance operations and efficient recovery of valuable excess aggregate following synchronized chip sealing – operations where speed and thoroughness have a direct impact on project profitability.

The sweeper was carefully driven onto a specialized low-bed trailer for transportation to the port. Our dedicated logistics team then supervised the loading onto the Ro-Ro (roll-on/roll-off) vessel. All moving parts, such as the suction nozzle and hopper, were braced and locked. Sensitive electronic components were sealed and the entire vehicle was wrapped in a protective film to shield it from the elements in its journey.

This detailed protocol ensures that the machine is delivered to the client’s site in factory-perfect condition, ready for immediate commissioning.
