Our group has managed to conclude an agreement on January 5 th to provide a high capacity and state of the art emulsion asphalt plant to a leading construction company in Saudi Arabia. The sale is not only a sale but also a statement of the credibility, creativity and competitiveness of the engineering strength of SINOTO globally.
Saudi Arabia has a distinct problem with the road construction equipment. Having extreme daytime temperatures and mineral needs of local aggregates, the customer needed a solution that was not available on the shelf, but necessary to be designed in a manner that would be resilient.
The colloid mill is at the core of any emulsion asphalt equipment. The recent range of series by SINOTO is based on a multi-stage high-shear design. This also makes sure that the droplets of bitumen are spread on the micron level (which is usually between 1 mm and 5 mm), and therefore this means a highly stable emulsion will be formed which will not separate during the transportation or the storing.
The equipment supplied under this contract has a PLC control system that is Siemens based.
