A high pressure hydraulic motor with a built-in premium performance design propels the sweeping broom which is also mounted directly to the auxiliary hydraulic valve of the host wheel loader. With this setup, the torque is evenly distributed and can remove heavy gravels, hardened silt and packed mud from the asphalt surface.
The main sweeping roller is made with a patented combination of high-density polypropylene (PP) bristles and heavy gauge steel wire bristles. This composite design has a combination of a mechanical action on compacted material with the steel wires, and a sweeping action on the material with the flexible PP bristles, prolonging the overall service life of the brush by up to 40% over that of conventional synthetic bristles.
These units come with a large capacity, structurally strong debris hopper, which reduces trips to the dump site. The hydraulic dump-gate mechanism is controlled easily from the operator’s cabin and is able to discharge the bottom in a single motion, straight into standard dump trucks.
The SINOTO units were fitted with an optional high capacity pressurised water spraying system for the dusty conditions found in West African sweeping operations. The atomizing nozzles are located at the front of the broom, producing a dense barrier which disrupts airborne particles of fine dust, thereby preventing any damage to public health and the engine air filter of the loader.
