The machine used in this project is the leader of the asphalt processing line of SINOTO. Our decanter is engineered to operate in the harshest international conditions and uses a refined thermal oil heating system, unique to drummed bitumen.
In contrast to direct-fire heating, which may scald the bitumen, the SINOTO Decanter is designed with a “dual-layer” heating method. The upper part is made with high temperature coils of thermal oil that will melt the bitumen out of the drums and the bottom reservoir keeps the liquid bitumen at a constant temperature, waiting to be pumped.
